Preventing Break & Enters

Remember these important security steps:

  • Lock all doors, windows, and garages at all times
  • Look through the door's window BEFORE opening the door
  • Use your porch light and rear yard light to help you to see clearly outside
  • Never rely on a chain-latch as a barrier to partially open the door
  • Never open the door to strangers or solicitors
  • Call the police if a stranger acts suspicious or if you see a suspcious person on the property (Go with your gut!  If it doesn't look like they belong, they probably don't.)
  • Alert your neighbors to suspicious solicitors or persons on the property
  • Hold a meeting with everyone you live with to discuss home security plans
  • Set the home perimeter alarm at night, if you have one

Updated Memorandum of Insurance

A new memorandum of insurance was mailed to all owners. Owners are reminded about the importance of obtaining the appropriate homeowner’s insurance. While the condominium corporation insures the building structure and the common elements, the policy does not cover the interior of your unit. Please refer to the Standard Unit Bylaw so you can determine what you should be insuring. All tenants are reminded that they should be carrying content insurance for their personal property and all landlords should confirm this coverage is in place.

Hello All Foxbend residents,

I have recently been advised by the postman that there has been an increase in the amount of mail that has been "returned to sender "due to the absence of unit number included with the street address.  Please be sure that anyone sending mail to you includes your unit number. Canada Post will not be responsible for any mail that does not reach its intended addressee due to the lack of a unit number.

Robin Cowell,

Property Manager
