Irrigation System
Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at 10:06PM There has been some concern from owners regarding the sprinkler system. The system was turned off over the weekend due to a break in the line. The system was shut down so water was not being wasted until the line could be repaired. The system is back on and the timers have been set to water nightly for an extended period of time.
The Corporation must follow watering regulations and the City of Guelph dictates during what time the system can be running. Time shift permits have to be issued and followed or the Corporation could face fines for over watering by the City. Some owners have mentioned that the Board does not want to pay to water the lawns and therefore has not bothered to activate the system or that Inspirah is responsible for covering the water costs. Please be assured this is not the case. Watering costs are a Corporation expense and therefore budgeted for each and every year in your condo fees.
